Life Hack “Creating Positive Change” (Days 25 and 26)

I feel gratitude towards the institution I work. While they have their issues like every other place, I’ve met great people. I am grateful for for the rest I’ve gotten lately. Lastly I am grateful for the feedback my friends have given me on my photo project.

2. Journal about 1 positive experience you’ve had over the last 48 hours.
Last night I attended our department welcome BBQ and I was able to meet the new students and speak with some of the old ones. I had a great conversation with a faculty member about his past where we spoke about the NYPD, Harlem in the 80s ect.

Shoutout to Juan Gonzalez! I’ve been watching him on Democracy now for quite some time. This weekend the New York Daily News honored him with a 2 page spread and an editorial piece about his 25 years of service. He’s still one of the few giving us uncensored truth in this country where the media is full of capitalism, red tape, politics. Hats off..
