The Obama and Romney campaigns are using the personal information of voters to, in effect, train people to go to the polls through subtle cues, rewards and threats.
One example used was one of target using computer data to find out that a 14 year old was pregnant and the company claiming they knew before the girls father did. This was something the company was proud of. As technology only progresses, it seems that it would be safer to assume that there is no such thing as privacy. A bit scary, but more notably a sign of things to come.. and a sign of things that are already here.
